With Auto Shazam, we’ll keep finding tunes for you even when you leave the app. To use the app, tap the Shazam button when you hear a song you’d like to know more about. Shazam then creates a digital fingerprint of the audio and matches it against the app’s database of millions of tracks and TV shows. You’re then given the name of the track, the artist, and information including lyrics recommended tracks and artist biography.
